These Terms and Conditions, together with the Booking Form, the Medical Declaration and the Pre-Course Information constitute the contract between the parties.

 

Definitions

The Participants: Persons taking part in the course.

 

Liability and Insurance

1.  Adventure Hebrides does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever arising and whether due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or any other causes.

2.  Activities during an Adventure Hebrides trips are potentially dangerous and all Participants must be aware of the risk.

3.  Adventure Hebrides cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property unless due to negligence on the part of their staff.

4.  Adventure Hebrides carries public liability insurance. However, we recommend all Participants have personal insurance to cover personal accident, loss of belongings or money, and personal liability.

 

Payment

1.  Reservations: No booking is considered firm until the completed booking form and appropriate deposits have been received by Adventure Hebrides.

2.  Deposits: A non-returnable deposit of 25 % of the total fee is payable at the time of booking.

3.  Payment: Final payment of the account is due 28 days from the start of the trip.

4.  Cancellations: In the event of cancellation between 28 and 8 days before the course 50% of the course fee will still be payable; in the event of cancellation less than 8 days before the course 100% of the course fee will still be payable.

5.  Extras: Charges for extras incurred during the holiday must be paid for before departure. Any incidental costs i.e. bar bills (including drinks with meals) etc. must be met by the Client. Adventure Hebrides will not in any event accept any liability for such charges.

 

Health and Safety

1.  Any person taking part in a Adventure Hebrides trip must have completed a medical declaration.

2.  Adventure Hebrides reserves the right to remove any Participant from the trip on failure to comply with reasonable regulations or instructions from members of their staff.

 

Weather Conditions

1.  In the event of Adventure Hebrides cancelling a trip a new date will be agreed or a full refund will be made.

 

Equipment and Clothing

1.  Sensible clothing should be worn appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions (see the Joining Instructions for further details).

2.  Any equipment supplied by Adventure Hebrides which is lost, damaged or not returned, must be replaced by the Client at current prices.
