When you reach the end of the road in northwestern Sweden you discover huge lake systems running deep into the mountains. Using a sea kayaking is a great way to explore these. The boats allows us into areas so we can continue to explore on foot.
Our journey will take us into the Karats Lake system and into the mountains at its head.
Our accommodation is a mixture of camping, huts and lappish tee-pees.
This trip is run in conjunction with CreActive Adventure and will use Leave No Trace Ethics.
The trip will include transport from Luleå airport, food (excluding alcohol), kayak, paddles, safety equipment, camping gear (including a sleeping bag), your final night in a hotel and return transport to the airport. There will be two guides with you, one from 58°N and one from CreActive Adventure.

Other Details:
These trips are run on tailormade basis so please contact us and we can give you more details on costing and availability.
As with all our trips our itinerary is dictated by the weather We do our best to stick to the plan but things sometimes have to change. With lake systems here there can still be ice so the system we explore may change. What we do guarantee is an unforgettable experience paddling in the Mountains of Sub Arctic Sweden.
You do not need to be an experienced sea kayaker to go on this trip, some experience paddling a kayak before would be an advantage. A typical day will contain three to five hours of paddling spread across it. You will need to be able to do several days of hill walking.
All our trips are accompanied by two experienced guides, one local and one from 58°N.
The accommodation is in huts tents and lappish tee-pees and we carry tents to camp on certain nights. Some of the cabins have access to saunas and we use of them.
